What is a timeline?
- We make timelines so that it is easier to understand historical periods with many events.
- Events are put on the timeline in the order they happened.
- When events are in the proper order you can see the relationships between them.
Here is what a personal timeline might look like!
- With your group you will construct a timeline: materials include 1 sentence strip, 8 small sticky notes, markers, and the dates and events below.
- Use your history book to find the information for the timeline.
- On the back of your time line write one sentence for each of the events that happened in the Hebrew Nation. (hint: you can find this in the chapter)
(hint: page 340 has some information, but there is one more page in the chapter that has more!)
